Exclusive Stu’s Shed Scoop – Triton is back in Bunnings!!

GMC is very pleased to advise that Bunnings have revised their decision regarding the on going ranging of Triton Woodworking Equipment. This decision has come about from extensive negotiations by GMC/Triton senior management, extensive customer comments (including postings on the woodworking forum) and Bunnings Team Member feedback. This result has also been supported by a significant increase in sales that were recorded after the revised full single bay layouts were completed just prior to the deranging decision.

All non-ranged Triton accessories and spare parts will be available for order via the Special Orders desk. Bunnings have advised that spare parts ONLY for GMC products can also now be ordered on their Triton account via the Special Orders system.

Triton representatives will begin immediately calling on stores and start the process of re-laying in the display stock and obtain restocking orders. Triton will be ensuring that everything is done to support this decision with support programs and products yet to be advised.

The above mentioned will be implemented immediately though will take several days before all stores come on line.

Other news:
We are also pleased to advise that the Series 2000 will soon come standard for all dealers with a bonus Height Winder Kit and Folding Wheels with a recommended retail of $499.00. Manufacturing of these will begin as soon as possible from the newly appointed factory located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne Australia

Triton spare parts have just been relocated to GMC’s main warehouse and will be still be approximately a week or so away before being back up to full speed.

  1. Fantastic news.
    Suport aussie manufacturing.
I think doing things at home will be more popular than buying the imported crap from your friendly furneture store from sweden, (all their shit comes from china)
As a farm boy who has been livin in the inner city in perth and a triton owner. I was pissed off to be told at bunnings that triton was finnished. I have finaly sold the pad and got a family house with a shed and was looking forward to finaly expanding my collection and building things.

Good move triton/bunnings. Everyone support them and dont buy the flat pac furneture or the chinese shittools.

    • Hi David,
You probably check some of my more recent posts – there have been a number of developments since that one was made, and the news certainly isn’t as promising.
