Exclusive Stu’s Shed Scoop – Triton is back in Bunnings!!

GMC is very pleased to advise that Bunnings have revised their decision regarding the on going ranging of Triton Woodworking Equipment. This decision has come about from extensive negotiations by GMC/Triton senior management, extensive customer comments (including postings on the woodworking forum) and Bunnings Team Member feedback. This result has also been supported by a significant increase in sales that were recorded after the revised full single bay layouts were completed just prior to the deranging decision.

All non-ranged Triton accessories and spare parts will be available for order via the Special Orders desk. Bunnings have advised that spare parts ONLY for GMC products can also now be ordered on their Triton account via the Special Orders system.

Triton representatives will begin immediately calling on stores and start the process of re-laying in the display stock and obtain restocking orders. Triton will be ensuring that everything is done to support this decision with support programs and products yet to be advised.

The above mentioned will be implemented immediately though will take several days before all stores come on line.

Other news:
We are also pleased to advise that the Series 2000 will soon come standard for all dealers with a bonus Height Winder Kit and Folding Wheels with a recommended retail of $499.00. Manufacturing of these will begin as soon as possible from the newly appointed factory located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne Australia

Triton spare parts have just been relocated to GMC’s main warehouse and will be still be approximately a week or so away before being back up to full speed.

Tools on the Doorstep

Don’t you just hate coming home and finding a box of tools on the doorstep?

(Actually I also found a note from a courier, so there could have been even more tools tonight!)

This was quite a cool assortment from VEK Tools.  Didn’t know what was inside, so it was kind of like Xmas in September.

VEK Tools Cap

Even the cap is cool!  Probably has more grip than my shed floor 🙂

VEK Tools T Shirt

The shirt logo “my tools go hard!” could be taken innoculously, until you see the shirt that was included for my little one (and that was a nice touch too).

VEK Tools Baby T Shirt

“Dad’s Tools Work” he he he 🙂 (Even my wife found it funny).  My site’s model was a bit too tired for a photo shoot tonight.  Good size too.

VEK Tools Drink Bottle

Milwaukee drink bottle.  Interesting extra – it has a freezable core. Ok, not a tool persay, but will be great in a hot shed in summer.

VEK Tools Bigg Lugg

Now to the tools – a belt hook – capable of carrying a drill, nail gun etc.

VEK Tools Ultrasonic Telemeter

And an ultrasonic ‘tape’ measure.  I love modern tech.  Felt really strange it being Ryobi, but at least I didn’t buy it from Bunnings.

There was also a whole stack of ‘junk mail’  Except it doesn’t qualify as junk mail when it is a Festool catalog, Protool catalog, etc 🙂 Wish all junk mail looked like that.  What’s wrong with the people who fill my letterbox every day?  If they put those in there, they may actually achieve something more than starting my wood fire!
