I have a number of ideas for upcoming videos, but they are just my ideas of what might be interesting.
If you have anything that you particularly want to see, or have clarified, just drop in a comment (or email), and we’ll see what we can do. Doesn’t matter how seemingly basic you think it is – I’m sure if one person is interested enough to say, that there will be others who have the same question / problem!
For example, I have a few (ok, 3) of the old-style Triton Superjaws. I have found over time that a spring in the mechanism occasionally comes loose which can cause the jaws to jamb. I have heard that some people have stopped using the jaws as they are now ‘broken’, yet the fix is relatively straightforward, when you see it.
So anyway, ask, and you may receive!
BTW – there is another video coming shortly – I have shot the raw footage, and just need to edit it for release….been another one of those really busy weeks! I have some time off this coming week, so hopefully that means I might have a chance to shoot (I’m hoping) the raw footage for another 2 or 3 videos.

Hi Stu
Just a note to say thanks for your efforts on the podcasts you do. I get alot out of them, especially as I am only a novice and have no-one to ask even simple questions about woodwork and woodwork equipment and setups. I love the fact you cover things from the beginning and show clearly how some machinery or tools work and their correct use and explain simply so people like myself can grasp the fundamentals and actually see them in operation. I never know the right things to ask when I see machinery in showrooms so its a real boon to have them demonstrated on video, and being a mac user, podcasts are so eay to download and view. Keep em coming Stu.
Oh, by the way yes, I have a defunct Superjaws, (the only triton product I own that consistantly breaks) so I would definately like to see a podcast on how to repair the damn thing! Stupid locking pin falls out everytime I try it so it now sits miserably in the corner of the shed:)
Much appreciated,
kiwi kez from across the ditch.
I know exactly what the problem is there, and will address it in a video very shortly – got to get those SuperJaws going again. It is too good a tool to be sitting in a corner unable to be used.
Thanks for the feedback too – nice to know someone out there is actually watching!
